On August 24-26, 2018 the Malešice lacrosse arena hosted the second edition of an open European U19 Box-lacrosse Championship. The tournament followed the last year premier which was successfully attended by four teams. Teams from Germany, Poland and the Czech Republic were part of the tournament this year.

The tournament is organized by the Czech Lacrosse Union together with the lacrosse team TJ Malešice, one of the founders of lacrosse in the Czech Republic and one of the most successful teams in the Czech lacrosse history.

The tournament was held at TJ Malešice arena where the first box lacrosse game was played more than thirty years ago. This legendary place was newly refurbished with new turf, boards with plexiglass around the field and new lightings in 2017.
